Nesting my soul is the first completed piece of 2018 which I worked on in January.  It started with playfully wanting to be a Mark Rothko, but my hand  and spirit took over and my recognisable circular stroke emerged. Let's just say is is my style.

A simple piece but sometimes less is more.  2017 was in some ways challenging and I had identified 'claiming my life'  as a goal and direction for 2018. And so, the piece speaks of the peace and simplicity I hope to hold onto in 2018 by going back to basics and nesting my soul.
